"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

With respect to this honourable Supreme Court of the United States of America, we wish to inform you that our investigation has revealed that you are the real beneficiary of the aforementioned fund of US$10.5, but only that you have been dealing with unauthorised individuals in the past, which has regularly led us to receive reports about being cheated on several occasions, especially from Africa, Asia, and some parts of Europe and America.

Meanwhile, we assure you with every sense of conviction and authority that we are now very ready to relocate/repatriate these funds back to you (as the rightful owner) as soon as we hear from you. We also would like to let you know that your further silence and delay will lead to the cancellation of every arrangement done so far concerning the remittance of these funds into your account.
