"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CONTRACT SUPPLY OFFER

Dear Friend,
I would like to discuss an exciting contract supply opportunity with you.
I understand that this is an unconventional way to establish a business relationship, but I want you to know that my intentions are strictly for mutual benefit. Would it be possible for your business to diversify its operations to handle international contracts, thereby earning legitimate profits that can support your company. This opportunity involves a raw material contract available within my company. The potential profit from a single contract runs into several million dollars.
If you require further details or a comprehensive explanation of the contract supply proposal, I will be glad to furnish you with all the information.
Alternatively, if your company is unable to handle this international contract supply, which can be managed remotely, perhaps you know a reliable and competent person outside your company who could manage this contract and share the profits with us.
As an employee of your company, you might not have the authority to make such decisions, and similarly, I cannot become a supplier contractor for my employer to earn a profit. However, we can use our positions to work together as brokers to bring in a capable person for this contract, ensuring you gain a certain percentage of the profit after the successful execution and delivery.
I look forward to your response.
Thank you,
Supervisor
