"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: ABOUT YOUR UNCLAIMED FUNDS

Greetings,

I’m contacting you because of your unclaimed pending compensation funds . Wondering how I got to know about your compensation ? Well about a week ago I was contacted by the United Nation Compensation commission(UNCC) and was notified that I am entitled to receive the sum of $2.8 million as one of the beneficiaries in their ongoing end of the year compensation program. At first I was surprised and expressed doubt to them about the authenticity of the message; which prompted them to send me the long list of beneficiaries due for compensation, fortunately my name happened to actually be on the list . Upon taking a closer look I saw some other person’s names and contact details on the list which is how I got your information and thought to notify you about your compensation. On the list, those who have received their compensation were marked, leaving those who are yet to receive their compensation unmarked.

My compensation was processed after supplying them the necessary requirements , luckily for me the funds entered into my account this past Friday . Everything still looks to me like I'm dreaming, these funds will really turn my life around for good. It makes up for all the money I have lost in the past to scammers. I’m truly delighted, which is why I want you to also take advantage of this opportunity given the fact that your name is on this list. Contact them and lay claim to your compensation on the commission’s( UNCC ) contact email :

Wish you best of luck
