"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am William Coester,Esq. Lawyer to the late Mr. David Hamilton Koch, a
philanthropist and the founder of Koch Industries, one of the largest
private foundations.

Engr. David Hamilton Koch, who passed away on August 23, 2019 after
fighting various illnesses through his Foundation, allocated billions of
dollars for charity such as helping Individuals, Cancer Research, Medical
Centers, Educational Institutions, Arts and Cultural Centers, and Public
Policy Organizations as was randomly selected worldwide before his death.

Having said this, your name is among the shortlisted benefactors for the
sum of USD$10. Million Dollars as information reached me from the banks
indicated to have waited for you to show up for your claim but there was no
turn-up from you.

Please, if you are alive, kindly get back to me at your earliest
convenience with your information to confirm the authenticity of your
identity as recommended by the bank. You can also visit the web page of the
late Mr. David Hamilton Koch, to know more about the Hamilton Foundation
and these grants at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_H._Koch

Yours at service,
William Coester,Esq.
