"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re:Greetings

Salutations,

My name is Engr. Gordon Hirschy, and I am a U.S. citizen and a real estate specialist. However, I am currently suffering from esophageal cancer, which has severely affected nearly every cell in my body.

My illness has truly gotten worse, according to all medical indications, and it's very clear that due to the rapid growth stage and the unbearable discomfort that goes along with it, I might not live for longer than six months.

My spouse lost her life in the Gulf War, and we never had children together despite having a long marriage. My wife was extremely affluent, and I inherited all of her assets and business after she passed away. After making a diagnosis, my doctor informed me in private that I might not live for.

I am willing to provide you a donation of $10,000,000 USD to support your church's development as well as the less fortunate and needy members of your congregations and community.

You will receive 30% of the total sum transferred to your account as my agent and the fund manager as soon as the funds are transferred to your own bank account, and you will utilize the remaining 70% for the assignment.

I will offer you my picture and identification in my next communication for your peace of mind.

If you agree with my idea, kindly respond right away with all of your information so that we can set up the money transfer to your own bank account before anything happens to me. I will be having surgery the following week.

Yours Sincerely,
Engr. Gordon Hirschy
