"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Attention Beneficiary

Attention Beneficiary,

I am Mr.Kalstrom James, head of Administrative Service Inspection Unit,United Nations Inspection Agency in Hartsfield Jackson International Airport Atlanta Georgia. During my official investigation, I discovered a shipment abandoned by a Diplomatic envoy from the United Kingdom, which was transferred from JF Kennedy Airport to our facility here in Atlanta, and when scanned it revealed an undisclosed sum of A M O U N T in 2 Metal Trunk Boxes weighing approximately 130kg.The consignment was abandoned because the Content was not properly declared by the consignee as M O N E Y rather it was declared as personal effect/classified documents to either avoid diversion by the Shipping Agent or confiscation by the relevant authorities. The diplomat inability to ascertain Non-Inspection clearance certificate, among other things is the reason why the consignment is delayed andabandoned. The boxes are still left in the airport storage facility today. The consignments like I said are two metal trunk boxes weighing about 65kg each (Internal dimension: W61 x H156 x D73 (cm) effective capacity: 680 L) Apparently, the details of the consignment including your name and email on the official documents from the United Nations office in London where the shipment was tagged as personal effects/classified document is still available with us.Therefore, it's up to you to decide if you still need the consignment or allow us to repatriate it back to the UK (place of origin) as we
were instructed, but if you are interested to receive the consignment, furnish me with your full name, current address to enable me process/deliver it to your home.

Note: If you received this message in your SPAM/JUNK folder, that is because of the restrictions implemented by your Internet ServiceProvider, treat it genuinely.

Yours faithfully,
Mr. Kalstrom James
Head Officer in Charge
Administrative Service Inspection Unit
