"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Did you receive my message?

Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you to express my sincere gratitude for taking the time to review the business proposal letter I sent. Your expertise and guidance are highly valued as we endeavor to advance our investment ventures through a potential joint venture agreement.

I am Barrister Arthur Bernard, representing my client, Miss Nadin Fathi Abdalla. In light of the unfortunate loss of her parents during the recent civil war in Libya, Miss Nadin, as the sole survivor of her family, is seeking to enter into a business partnership to facilitate the recovery and investment of her funds totaling 53,000,000.00 USD.

These funds, accrued from the sales of gold and diamonds, were initially intended to be returned to Libya by her late father. However, due to the outbreak of the war, the funds have been held in a finance company in Europe, awaiting claim. It is important to note that Miss Nadin was a teenager at the time of these events.

I am confident that with your commitment, expertise, and innovative approach, we can achieve substantial success through the right investment strategy.

I trust that you will find this proposal intriguing and I eagerly await your response. To ensure that our communication proceeds smoothly, please confirm receipt of this email by responding to my private email address. Barrister.Arthur.Bernard@gmx.com

Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to the possibility of working together.

Warm regards,

Barrister Arthur Bernard.
