"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: "Philanthropic Partnership Opportunity: Making a Positive Impact Together"

Dear Beloved in Christ,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I am Georgette Joubert, and I recently came across your email while browsing the internet. I was drawn to your email through a local listing, and I'm grateful for the chance to connect with you. After visiting your page, I was truly inspired by the valuable work you're doing in your field, and I'm eager to establish a sincere and meaningful connection with you.

I'm writing to you from my sickbed, where I'm fighting an advanced lung disease. Given my current circumstances, I've been pondering how I can make a positive impact in the time I have left. I am a widow who, along with my late husband, Engineer Michael Joubert, migrated from Alberta, Canada to the United States in 1980. It is my heartfelt wish to honor his memory and fulfill his final wishes. I've been entrusted with our entire assets, which my late husband left behind. These assets amount to Four Million, seven hundred and fifty-five thousand United States Dollars (USD 4,755,000.00). I intend to use this sum for charitable purposes to benefit the less fortunate.

I firmly believe that every individual deserves a chance to lead a better life, and I hope you might consider partnering with me to turn this vision into a reality. Unfortunately, my late husband's relatives have displayed considerable greed and have even posed threats to my well-being in their pursuit of his inheritance and real estate assets. That is why I am reaching out to you directly. Please be assured that everything we undertake will strictly adhere to legal and ethical standards.

I kindly request that we continue our conversation in private. You can reach me at my personal email address: kidddiesgoldenfoundation@yahoo.com. I eagerly anticipate discussing the details further and exploring the possibilities of how we can collaborate to bring about positive change for those who need it most.

May our connection be blessed and fruitful.

Warm regards,
Mrs. Joubert
