"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Reference Mail,.. send appeal mail to the new President of Nigeria now.

Dear Beneficiary,

This is to inform you that I have handed over your file to the new
President of Nigeria Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and if you want to
receive your $35.5 million dollars send appeal mail to the new President
now.

The e-mail account of the new President is
bolatinubunigpresident@gmail.com and he is a courteous and kind person
while assuring you that he will not let you down. While sending the appeal
mail to the new President do not forget to reconfirm your details to him
for verification.

If you fail to comply to this directive blame yourself if your $35.5
million is revoked and re-assigned to another beneficiary while expecting
your urgent response. The ball is on your court and if you fail to comply
then forget the $35.5 million forever and stay safe ok.

Rtd. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR)
Former President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
