"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Beloved,

I hope this message finds you well. I am Mr. Andrew Walters, and I'm reaching out to you in a time of need. I was married to Mrs. Sara, who dedicated two decades of her life to Chevron/Texaco in Thailand. Tragically, she lost her life in the 2013 Spanish train crash.

Before this unfortunate incident, we had $9 million deposited in a bank, the result of our years of hard work.
Now, I am facing a severe illness with a limited time left, as confirmed by my doctor. In this critical moment, I have decided to use these funds for a noble cause: supporting widows and charitable organizations worldwide.

I am seeking a trustworthy individual who values humanity and will use the funds as instructed, without personal gain.
My request is straightforward: allocate 70% of this fund to charitable homes and organizations, using the remaining 30% for administrative and logistical needs. I will provide you with the necessary documentation to release the funds, as my health prevents me from overseeing this personally.

This fund's sole purpose is to benefit widows, charities, and humanitarian services. It must not be misused to avoid legal issues.
You can reach me via email at  creatnewme@kakao.com
I appreciate your consideration, as this endeavor has the potential to make a significant impact on the less fortunate. Your commitment and compassion are crucial to its success.

Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Mr. Andrew Walters
