"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: My Beloved in Christ,

My Beloved in Christ,

Greetings to Calvary in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm Mrs.
Mercy Felix from Russia I was married to Mr. Felix who worked with the
Russian Embassy in Cote d'Ivoire for nine years before he died last
year. We were married for eleven years without a child. My husband
died after a minor illness that lasted just four days. Before his
death, we were born-again Christians.

My dear, I know you are surprised to receive this letter, but as a
child of the living God, you must know that our ways are not his ways.
My Bible tells me that it works in many ways and that everything works
well for those who believe in Jesus Christ. Indeed, it is also by the
guidance of God's holy spirit that I choose you in obedience and love
to
I fulfilled the wish of my late husband that I supported for the glory
of God. I want you to understand that this benevolence is a
fulfillment of the desire and decision of my late husband, which I am
convinced to update.

Since the death of my beloved husband, I have decided not to remarry
or have a child outside my matrimonial home, which the Bible is
against. When my late husband was alive, he deposited the sum of
US$6.5 million (US$6,500,000.00) in a bank here in Abidjan, Ivory
Coast. Currently, this money is still in the bank.

Recently, my doctor told me that I would not last nine months due to
my cancer problem. What bothers me the most is my stroke. After
knowing my condition, I decided to donate this fund to a charity,
church, Christian organization or a true believer who will use this
money in the way that I will instruct here.

I want this background to be used
for orphanages, schools, churches, widows and the underprivileged to
spread the word of God and ensure that the house of God will be
maintained. The Bible made us understand that "Blessed is the hand
that gives". I made this decision because I don't have any children to
inherit this money and my husband's relatives are unbelievers and I
don't want the unbelievers to use my husband's efforts.

I don't want a situation where this money is used in an ungodly way.
That's why I'm making this decision. I'm not afraid of death, so I
know where I'm going. I know that I will be in the bosom of the Lord.
Exodus 14 VS 14 says that "the Lord will fight in my case and I will
be silent". I do not need any telephone communication regarding this
due to my health status and the presence of my deceased husband's
relatives around me, always trying to claim this money that my husband
left me. I am not
I want you to know about this development. With god everything is possible.

I want you to deal with this alone, because my health does not allow
me to do this, since I regularly undergo dialysis and medical
examinations. I am even writing this letter with the help of a sister
who helps me. I intend that you send me your full name and address so
that I can use an affidavit that will officially and legally endorse
you as the next of kin of this fund so that even if I die your claim
to this fund in the bank will have no questions. I will send the
declaration and certificate of deposit for this fund immediately after
the statement is ready.

As soon as I receive your reply, I will give the bank contact in
Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where my beloved husband deposited this money. I
will also issue you the affidavit of oath that will legally and
officially approve you.
the relatives and the new beneficiary of the fund together with the
deposit certificate for this fund that my late husband used to pay at
the bank. I want you to always pray for me because the LORD is my
shepherd.

My happiness is that I lived the life of a worthy Christian. Whoever
wants to serve the Lord must serve him in Spirit and Truth.

I want you to send me the following items for the declaration procession:

(1) your full name ................................ ......... . . .. ......

(2) your address..........................................................
... . ...... ........ . .......

(3) your nationality................................................
... ...... ....... ................................ .. ....

(4) Your age/gender ............................................
.................

(5) your occupation of this
........................................... . ... ........

(6) your marital status ................................ ....... ..... ...

(7) Your direct telephone number ..........................

(8) Your photo..........................

I need this information, it's very urgent. Any delay in your response
will give me space to find someone else for the same purpose.

I look forward to receiving your urgent reply.
Be blessed in the Lord.
Yours in Christ
Mrs. Felix Mercy
