"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Funds Next Of Kin Beneficiary Enquiry

I write to you with regards to an investment by an investor, whom shares

the same background as you, and a name similar to yours was chosen as

next of kin beneficiary to the investment, which is quite a substantial

amount. The investment is presently dormant and intestate, as a result

of the inability to locate the investor, hence, if the investment is not

Claimed, would be reverted back to the state.

Should you be aware of such an investment, kindly revert back to me to

brief you of the investment details, to enable you to claim the proceeds

of the investment, of which its proceeds, you can put some part of it,

to a worthy cause, such as assisting the less privileged in the society

or other worthy cause.

Kindly respond to the email address: davidsscchmit@outlook.com

Kind Regards

Mr. David Schmit
