"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: hi

My greeting to you,
Thank you for your response and God bless you, It is my pleasure to
write to you after consideration, since I cannot be able to see you
face to face, at first, please I need your help. I am Jessica Martins
the only daughter of late Mr. Leon Martins, from Côte D'ivoire. My
father deposited the sum of ($4,8 Millions Dollars) in a bank here in
Rep of Lome Togo before his death, he used my name as his next of kin
and the inheritor to the money after his death, and he left a will
with the bank that restrained me from accessing the money here unless
transferred overseas for investment purpose.

I am now seeking for your assistance to help me transfer this money
out to your account abroad so that we can invest it in any meaningful
and lucrative business in your country because this is my only hope in
life. I am willing to offer you 20% of the total fund if only you can
help me out of my present predicament.I will give you the bank details
as soon as I hear from you,

I wait to hear from you soon.
Yours,
Jessica Martins.
