"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: CAN I TRUST YOU

Greetings,

I know this means of communication may not be morally right as we haven't
met before. My Name is Mrs. Sari A. from Norway. I am married to Mr. Paul
Wulan, a Contractor and Gold merchant who owned a Small Gold Mine in
Ouagadougou; He died of Pulmonary disease in August 2017, and our long
years of marriage were not blessed with children. During his lifetime he
deposited the sum of (€5.8 Million Euros) in SoGen bank in Burkina Faso.
The deposited money was from the sale of the shares, payment entitlements
and death benefits.

I have been suffering from cancer and presently I have a illness which has
become almost impossible for me to move around, it's pretty obvious that I
may not live long. I have been touched by God Almighty to donate what I
have inherited from my late husband to you for good work of God to help
Motherless babies/Less privileged because I am dying and diagnosed with
cancer 2 years ago. I'm in urgent need of a trusted person to help fulfill
my dreams.

Regards,
Mrs. Sari.
