"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Good Day Dear!!!

Hello Dear,

I am Mrs. Susan Buda Karen, A citizen of Connecticut, United State Of
America. presently staying in London, United Kingdom. I am married to Late
Engr. Chalmers Karen who worked as the financial director under United
Nation Development Programme for Africa for more than ten years before he
died in the year 2010. We were married for eleven years without a child,
he died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days. When my
husband was alive he deposited $ 12.5 Million USD with a reputable bank,
and presently this money is still with the bank; recently, my doctor told
me that I would not last long due to my cancer problem and the one that
disturbs me most is my partial paralysis.

I am sorry for barging into your privacy through this method which is the
only way I can reach you before exchanging further contact. Anyway, Do not
worry as I have an important issue that comes to my mind and of my wish
which i want to discuss with you, is about humanity and charity work. Do
you have experience with charity work. can you handle a charity project?
Would you be sincere and faithful if you are chosen to work for God and
humanity, Can you handle charity work of God and humanity for mankind? My
spirit tells me to ask you this question.

If your answer is YES and sincerely, I am willing to donate the sum of
$12.5 Million USD dollars to these humanitarian and charity projects which
is my last wish as I do not have long time to live on this earth due to my
severe diagnosis. I decided to choose your email address while searching
at random. Kindly get back to me at your earliest convenience, So that I
can know about you. I am waiting for your earliest reply to give you more
details and to get to know each other better for the betterment of this
divine project. Have a pleasant day and God bless.

My regards,
Mrs. Susan Buda Karen
