"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings with due respect.

Please permit me to introduce you to a proposal worth €15.8Million
Euros (Fifteen Million Eight Hundred Thousand Euros) and 57kg of Gold
Bars which you will benefit in future. I am Ms. Vivian Kafando, and
I’m 19yrs old, the only child and daughter to my lovely parent, Mr.
Dodo Elias Kafando, a Production (DG) Director General with the
Ministry of Energy and Mines from Burkina Faso, West Africa.
I am seeking for your kind support and assistance to stand as a
business associate of my late father, and to also stand on my behalf
and claim my family estate the above money and gold Bars. My late
father and Mother was killed by his wicked brothers, they are among
the military officers that took over the regime in my country.

They are seriously after my life; they want me killed and take over my
family estate documents from me. I am currently out of the city in a
remote area around the country. If you are interesting, kindly reply
me back urgently, to introduce you to the bank.
Ms. Vivian Kafando.
