"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: REQUEST FOR BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP\

Good day

My name is Marianne Poonga from Congo DRC, i run a mining company with my
husband as a family business in DRC and we have been selling our mineral
products called COLTAN/TANTALITES locally. And now we have a huge project
to propose to you because we intend to invest some funds profitably in your
country.

So we want your partnership to become our company agent in facilitating our
business objectives globally. And currently, we have just signed a 1 year
contract with our international buyer and will require you to represent us
and complete the deal to enable the buyer to make payment of our product to
your provisioned bank account in your country and this will enable us to
utilize the funds for our proposed investment business in your country.

Therefore, I am going to forward you our proposal, then after, commission
agreement and NCNDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) for your review, but before
that, I would appreciate to discuss with you over the phone so we can have
some sort of familiarities and establish a cordial business relationship.
Provide me with your WHATSAPP contact please.

Thanks

Mrs. Marianne Poonga (COO)
