"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

I'm sure it is no more news that the Russian invaders occupied our cities since February 24th and ever since our lives have been so damaged, physically and psychologically. My family and I have been put through unimaginable treatment from Russian soldiers and sometimes our fighters.

I am contacting you for your help, I don't know how to go about this but I just have to try and I hope you understand, since there is no harm in trying and I don't have any other option unfortunately. I have 4 kids and we can barely afford to eat proper meals. What me and my kids eat is pigeon, as the people giving aid here are Russians, but the trauma of Russians killing my husband and destroying our home and our peaceful country has made me not to take food from them.

I go out and get pigeon which we eat and we donâ€™t have shelter. Our home and shop was totally destroyed in Mariupol by the Russians. Shelling this city has become a living hell, we want to leave the country to USA OR CANADA.
I don't want to make this just about me and my family, there are two more families we are traveling together that have similar stories and me being the only one with proper English language, I have to write for all of us. We are a total of 14 people, 10 kids and 4 adults including an elderly woman.
