"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: From Dr.Alhaji N.K Ibrahim

Hello

By the way of introduction my name is Dr.Alhaji N.K Ibrahim. I am a Nigerian and a top Civil servant in the Federal Government of Nigeria. An integral part of our Federal Government Economic Team. We make economic policies and prepare the budget for the Executive ofthe Federal government of Nigeria to implement.

I have a life transforming business I want to partnerwith you in and this it, in the course of preparing the budget for this year we were asked to pad the budget with some fictitious contracts with the aim of raising money for the ruling party to fund the campaigns of the upcoming elections.
I as a clever person with another person and a minister padded the budget of the concerned ministry which the Minister overseas with the sum of $40,000,000 (Fourty Million United States Dollars). Now I have been saddled with the responsibility of finding a foreign partner that would bemade the contractor whom this contract has been awarded to.

If you are interested please get back to me immediately so that we can spell out the modalities on how to conduct this large and transforming business. If I were you, I would count myself to a lucky person. You will be entitled to 35% of the entire contract sum and all the statutory documents that would make you the contractor who was awarded the contract, that executed the contract and now entitled to his unconditional and immediate payment will be secured. 5% shall be reserved for this and 60% shall be ours.
We will hire a lawyer who is influential and has the political will power and well connected with the power that be to conduct this business which borders on fulfilling all the statutory requirements for contract awards, execution and payments to the beneficiaries
If I were you, I will not miss this opportunity. It is important to let you know that this is far from the stupid thing that the Accountant General of the Federation did which is now trending all over the world. Taking over 102 billion naira without the required statutory coverage and it was discovered.
I wait anxiously for your response and with your cooperation this business will be concluded with a record time to the joy and delight of all concerned.
Sincerely
Dr.Alhaji N.K Ibrahim.
