"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am suffering from lung cancer for eight months from now, I
experience a lot of pains which can lead to death. My doctor just told
me that my days are numbered, and that my health is deteriorating. My
family situation is such that I am a widow without children with whom
I could leave my legacy.

I have took a decision to leave my legacy which is reduced to the
value of (2,500,000.00 USD) to you so that you can use the funds to
help the poor, the homeless, and the orphans.

I would like you to send the following information to me :

1 - Your full name.
2 - Your exact address details.
3 - Your phone number.
4 - Your Age
5 - Your Occupation

Finally, i will send the necessary documents relating to funds in the
bank, all i want is your honesty not to betray me when you receive the
funds.
