"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello Dear

Hello Dear

My name is Vivian Nasim Salem, wife of late Nasim Salem, an Iraqi. Some
years back, I lost my husband Nasim and my three children - Husam, 15 years
old ,Wasim, 12 years old and Merna, 6years old, this happened when American
tank shelled our car as my family attempted to flee heavy fighting in
Baghdad. View details here:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/middle_east/04/vivians_story/html/1.stm

Meanwhile, before the incident occur, my late husband deposited the sum of
GBP6,500,000.00 with the Pacific Securities in Lome Togo, This was the only
money remaining with me right now, but that is not the major problem rather
my Doctor confirmed to me that I will not last for the next few months due
to cancer and other illness resulting from the shock when I lost my family.

Having known my condition, I decided to Will these funds out so that you
can donate part of the money to the Orphanages Home, Motherless Baby Home
and churches on my behalf in your country.

I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this
money and due to constant break down of law in my country, I have decided
to leave my country to Lome Togo where I am taking treatment.

If you are willing to execute this project on my behalf, you get back to me
so that I instruct the Pacific Securities to release the funds to you, I
wouldnt want our hard earned money to be misused by my family members that
was the reason I contacted you to know if you can execute the project on my
behalf.

I look forward to your responses.

Mrs. Vivian Nasim Salem
