"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Can You Supply the products

Good morning,

I am Robert P. Akonbiah, a trade negotiator I work with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Ghana. Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is interested in the import of Santalum Spicatum Nopid Oil, it sells cheaper in your country than what our company buys before from Australia.
In your country, the price is twice cheaper than what we buy from a vendor in your country, I am contacting you to bridge the gap between our company and the local supplier in your country and supply at the rate of $28,000. I don't want the CEO to know the original price and vendor location and after we share the profit 60% for you and 40% for me. The CEO will require 250kg minimum regularly and delivery is fob .
Payment method 80% advance telegraphic transfer (TT) against the order and 20% upon delivery at the Ex-Warehouse.
Further details will be shared with you upon hearing from you. Please consider it urgent.

Mr. Robert P. Akonbiah.
Ag. Director Purchase and Outsource Department. MO-FA.
