"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

*Good News*

From the desk of Balram Bheodari, General Manager (Hartsfield–Jackson
Atlanta International Airport). During our facility storage unit
scrutinize, we discovered an abandoned shipment through a diplomat from the
United Kingdom to our facility here in Atlanta GA, and when scanned it
revealed a certain amount of money in a metal trunk box weighing
approximately 61kg.

*Reasons why your consignment box was delayed/abandoned;*

First, the content/index was not properly declared as money rather it was
declared as personal effect/classified documents to either avoid diversion
by the shipping agent or confiscation by the relevant authorities.
Secondly, the diplomat's inability to secure a valid Yellow Tag and
Delivery Permit among other things are the reasons why your consignment was
delayed and restricted from immediate delivery to your doorstep.

By my assessment, the said consignment box contains ($4 million) and it’s
still left in the facility storage unit till today. The details of the
consignment include your name and email address on the official document
from the United Nations office in London where the shipment was tagged as
personal effects/classified documents. The consignment like I said earlier
is a metal trunk box weighing about 61kg (Internal dimension: W61 x H156 x
D73 (cm) effective capacity: 680 L). Furthermore, I am ready to assist you
in any way I can to make sure your consignment box is being delivered to
you safely with all necessary security and urgency provided you will
compensate me upon the successful delivery of your package to your doorstep.

Meanwhile, you are required to reconfirm below details so that we can
cross-check if it corresponds with the information on the official document
before we can proceed with the final delivery arrangement and prompt
dispatch of your package without any further delay.

*Full Name:
*Phone Number:
*Delivery address:
*Occupation:
*Valid I.D Card:

As I have earlier mentioned, the shipping agent abandoned your package
because the content was not properly declared as money rather it was
declared as personal effect/classified document to either avoid diversion
by the shipping agent or confiscation by the relevant authorities, and his
inability to secure a valid Yellow Tag and Delivery Permit among other
things are the reason why your consignment was delayed and restricted from
immediate delivery. It is now left for you to decide if you are still
interested in receiving your consignment box worth ($4 Million) only, or
allow us to repatriate it back to the UK (place of origin) as we were
instructed. You can either come get your package in person, or we will
engage the service of a secure shipping company that will provide the
necessary security required for the safe and successful delivery of your
consignment box to your doorstep.

Acknowledge the receipt of this email soon as received

Sincerely,

Balram Bheodari
