"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir,

The Company I work for is vitex pharmaceuticals ltd, in Australia. We are into the manufacturing of pharmaceutical materials. We make use of a rare natural supplement for products that we buy from local farmers in Bangladesh.

I am contacting you for a business supply contract for the supplement to my company because I know you are from Bangladesh. You will be presented to my company by me as the supplier I have been buying from, and then I will give you direct contact with the supplier in Bangladesh so you can now supply it to my company.

We buy-in very large quantity and a profit of about 600 EURO can be made from each sachet of the supplement purchased.

If you are interested, respond to me so I will give you the detail of the business, the price differences, and how we will share the profit made. I appreciate your interest.

Thanks & best regards

Dr. Mohammad Abbes,
Marketing Manager
Vitex Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd
Australia.
