"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello

Greetings to you, How are you doing over there in your country? I hope you are fine. I am Alma Mukaj from Ukraine, My mother and I want you to help us relocate from Ukraine to your country. Due to the on-going war in our country we've lost all our family members, left alone my aged mother and I.

We have enough money to buy a house over there and you will also help us to invest our family money in any good business of your choice that will bring us yearly or monthly income.

All we need is your help and assistance to help us proceed and move over there and you will be our only family because we do not know anyone over there and my mother never want to remain here in Ukraine because she always remember her late husband whom she lost due to this incident and now her kids and grandkids that she lost due to the bombardment, she is always heartbroken that is why we have decided to move. I will be waiting for your reply.

Thanks,
Alma and Mother.
