"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings

Dear Sir,

Greetings from the Oceania Region..

I am seeking mutual assistance from you to qualify for a fund of
$ 18,700,000.00 (eighteen million seven hundred thousand US
dollars) deposited in Ä°ÅŸ Bank London Branch by my late client who
has the same last name as you.

I am contacting you for three (3) good reasons.

Firstly, my late client is from your Country, which makes the
claim more credible.

Secondly, he bears the same last name with you

Thirdly, I strongly believe that the financial firm does not
deserve to inherit the funds.

Please I would like to know if I can work with you to achieve
this transaction of great mutual benefit ?

I will send you more details as soon as you give me your hand of
cooperation.

I look forward to your urgent response. I am also looking forward
to a mutually beneficial partnership with you.

Thanks

Sincerely,
Lawyer Gary Boucher
