"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings my dearest

Greetings my dearest,
I am Mrs. Laura Renard, married to Late Mr. Richard Renard for 19
years without any child before his death in 2007.
Please i am contacting you because i want to donate the sum of
$2,800,000.00 million dollars which i inherited from my late husband
to you for charity and humanitarian work of God.
Unfortunately, the doctor told me that i might not last for the next
two months because i have a blood cancer which is very critical.
Please, I am looking for a person that will use this fund for
orphanages, widows, and to propagate the word of God in his country.

I will appreciate your honesty and courage in this donation, please
respond to me after you read this message for more details regarding
this fund because it is urgent.

Your beloved sister
Mrs. Laura Renard
