"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: YOUR REWARD

I am glad to announce to you the success of our transaction. The
victorious success was obtained through a Japanese base business man
Mr.Aki Chinami.

Due to your special assistance, I can never disregard you because you
made this success a reality, regardless of the fact that you were not
there to end it with me but I gave all the credit to you. I know it
wasn’t your want to back up, I understood it was simply because of
what you must have heard about business from my continent particularly
Benin Republic. Actually there are still good ones, like myself.

In this light, I am compensating you with a Draft worth of USD5M.(Five
Million US Dollars) I left the Draft with my attorney Barr. Douglas
Nede, when I was on my way to Japan. I would like you to contact him
on the below information so that he can release your Draft to you.

Attn: Barr. Douglas Nede
Email: barrdouglas1957@outlook.com

Email my Attorney in Cotonou – Benin Republic through his above email
so that he can release your Draft to you. I will stop here. Once
again, thank you very much and remain blessed.

Regards,
Koffi Mathew
