"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings!

Please forgive me for stressing you with my predicaments as I know
that this letter may come to you as a big surprise, Honestly I am glad
to know you, but God knows you better and he knows why he has directed
me to you at this point in time so do not be surprised at all,
However, I came across your E-mail from my personal search afterward I
decided to email you directly believing that you will be honest to
fulfill my final wish in case if anything happens to me.

Honestly, my reason of contacting you is to request for your
partnership, I have been diagnosed with Cancer of the Pelvic and I am
attending my medical treatment at St. Victoria's Private Clinic here.
I am writing you this mail from my sickbed with heavy tears in my eyes
and great sorrow in my heart because of how this transfer is urgent to
me.

I will appreciate your understanding and I will be waiting for your
response immediately you received this message,

Best regards,
Mrs Maria Grace Boyi.
