"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Omicron victim's refund

Dear Sir
Omicron Victim Refund

This is my 2nd attempt to reach you. I therefore advise against delay.

Upwards of $17. million be PENDING FOR YOU.
Before the last UK lockdown i recived deposit of above from a foreign client without authentic details as he was in haste
Thereafter i received information of his death due to the Omicron virus. This news i withheld from my bank to search
for my client's relations. Because in line with Foreign Banks agreement UK it is is mandatory to identify and notify
relatives of deceased cients of transactions.

Currently my bank seeks to annex the whole money if the client due to unavailable details for deposit.
I Therefore seek your assistance to intervane in change to ownership as relation to retrive the moneies from
my bank.
With your cooperation i could reverse the money for our benefits. The proccess will take only few days.

For clarification please respond soon. amb.jamesclinton@gmail.com

Yours Sincerely
C James- Relation Officer
