"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Honorable

I am Engr. George Marks Vice Chairman, Julius Berger Nigeria Construction
Company, I write to you officially to know if you are willing to sell your
Contract/Inheritance information with the Nigerian Government to us since
you have not been able to receive your fund.

We understand that your fund has already been declared paid to the Federal
Government of Nigeria by the Corrupt Bank/ Government Officials that
handled your fund payment, and all these while you have been fighting to
receive your fund without knowing that the Corrupt Bank/Government
Officials that handled your fund payment diverted your fund to a trading
Company in UK, and have been trading with your fund on Stocks and Bonds
without your knowledge and still frustrating/ripping you off by making you
pay bills to frustrate you.

We have very high understanding with the Nigerian Government and we have
connections with top financial governing bodies in Nigeria and the UK.

We are making you an offer to sell your Contract/Inheritance information to
us, while we pay you directly through one of our offshore banking accounts
and go for the fund with the information which you will give us.

I await your response.

Yours Sincerely.

Engr. George Marks.
