"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Miss. Helen Tumba.

Dearest one,

I am Miss Helen Tumba. My parents Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Tumba were
poisoned to death by my father's brothers while on a family meeting in
the village. There is this huge amount of money, $7.3 Million (USD)
(Seven Million Three Hundred thousand U.S. Dollars) which my late
father Mr.Edmond Tumba kept for me in a bank here in Abidjan Cote d'
Ivoire before his death. Now I have decided to invest the money in
your country or anywhere safe enough, outside Africa for security
purposes. I want you to help me to transfer this money to your country
for investment purposes. Please if you are willing to assist me for
the security of my life and that of the money in question, because it
is part of what I am living for now as my inheritance, and i can not
afford to lose it.

Indicate your interest by replying.

Thanks and GOD bless you,

Miss. Helen Tumba.
