"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam
The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.
Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.
Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

 Dear Respectful

I am writing you based on a request by a family who needs to invest
their funds in your country. My name is John C. Anthony, a private
investment manager. I represent the interests of some wealthy
political families within Africa. Due to the sensitivity of the
position they hold in their various Governments and the unstable
investment environment of their countries, they prefer to channel/move
majority of their funds into more stable economies and developing
nations where they can get good Return on Investment (ROI) for their
funds with guarantee for its safety.

Few days ago, a political family which I will disclose to you in due
course approached me with a mandate to seek for an individual or
company such as yourself who have the experience and capacity to
receive their fund and invest it into any lucrative investment you
 will recommend.

Kindly let me know if you can handle this for them

 Regards

 Dr. John C. Anthony
