"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Attention: Please,

Attention: Please,

My name is Mr. Francis Williams, A Diplomatic Agent who was assigned by United Nation President & Compensation Committee to deliver an ATM VISA CARD worth of U$1,500,000.00 (One Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) and I thank God for my successful arrival at (DFW International Airport, Texas) with your package and after my arrival, the Custom Authority at the Airport, demanded for the legal back up papers in order to prove to them that this fund does not in anyway related to Anti-Terrorists, Drugs or Money Laundry which I presented the documents to them and they were very pleased with the papers I presented.

But unfortunately, I lost my commercial diary during the inspection and misplaced your information, so that's why you have to re-confirm your full details as I stated below to enable me complete this delivery to your rightful doorpost once I'm done with the custom here at the airport to avoid any wrongful delivery.

1) Your Full Name:…………………………..
2) Your Current Home Address:……………………….
3) Your Direct Telephone/Mobile Number:……………………..
4) Your Country Name/States/Zip Code:…………………………..
5) Your Marital Status/Age/Sex:
6) Your Occupation/Position:…………………………..
7) Your Closest Int'l Airport Name:…………………………..
8) A Copy Of Your Driver's License or Passport:…………………………..

Therefore, the custom authority said that the only document you are required to obtain is INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY PERMITS (IDP) after you have provided your personal information stated above so that the custom in charge will instruct you on how to secure the INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY PERMITS (IDP) which will cost you a sum of US$290.00 only.

Looking forward to hear from you!

Regards,
Mr. Francis Williams (Diplomatic Agent)
