"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GREETINGS IT'S MY PLEASURE

Dear Friend.

Greetings to you in the name of the Lord God Almighty. I am Mrs. Matilda
Hugo, from (MAKASSAR) INDONESIA, but i base in Burkina Faso for twenty-three
Years as a business woman dealing on Gold exportation and cotton Sales. I
have been suffering from this deadly disease called cancer for a long time
and the doctor said I have just a few days to leave. I know it will be
difficult for you to believe my story, but this is the situation i found
myself in, it’s not my desire to be on a sick bed today but God knows best.

Now, I am about to end the race like this, without any family members and
no child. I have €7 Million EUROS in Coris Bank it’s all my life savings, I
instructed the Bank to give it to Sos Children’s Villages Orphanage in
Burkina Faso. But my mind is not at rest because I do not have confidence
in them, I am writing this letter now through the help of my computer
beside my sick bed. I will instruct the bank to transfer this fund to you
as a foreigner, but you have to promise me that you will take 50% of the
fund and give 50% to charity like the orphanage home in your country
for my soul
to rest in peace.

Please respond to me immediately for further details since I have just a
few days to lose my life to this deadly disease, hoping you will understand
my situation and give favorable attention, I look forward to getting a
reply from you.
