"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Friend,

Please do not think this is one of those scams or junk mails you receive in
your mailbox, which I myself receive as well. It is true that you will
find it very difficult to believe me based on the fact that we have not
known ourselves earlier before now or seen in person and there are a lot of
internet scams going on all over the world, but I plead for your tolerance
and understanding. As you may know, anybody in desperate need of help will
look for a solution to solve his/her problem.

With due respect, trust and humility I am writing this email to you, to
seek for your assistance to transfer some funds to your account. Despite
the fact that bad people have tarnished the image of good people, I still
believe that there are some good people like you who can help me out of
these predicaments. Please do accept my apology if my mail infringes on
your personal ethics. I saw your email address during the course of my
private research for a foreign partner that will assist me and my only son
to transfer some fund into your bank account, which I believe would be of
great interest to you.

I think I will start with a proper introduction of myself. I am Mrs. Sandy
Evie Ngema, the wife of Dr. Pham Ngema of Zimbabwe. During the war against
farmers in Zimbabwe and from the support of our former President Robert
Mutable to claim all the white owned farms in our country, all the white
farmers were ordered to surrender their farms to his party members and his
followers without any compensation for all that they have laboured for many
years. My husband who was one of the best black farmers in our country
Zimbabwe did not support the idea of our former President because of the
way the white farmers were brutally maltreated and killed. So the party
members invaded my husband’s farm and burnt everything in the farm, killed
my husband and made away with a lot of vital items in his farm. The
distribution of the farms started in 2000 and my husband was assassinated
in 2002.

Before the death of my husband, he deposited the sum of US$21,000,000.00
(Twenty One Million United States Dollars only) in a Finance Security
Company in the Republic of South Africa as a consignment and valuable item
for the family, as if he foreseen the looming danger. This fund was hidden
in a big safe metal box and was insured in one of the Insurance Company in
South Africa, but the real contents of the box were not disclosed to the
company at the point of deposit for security reasons and to avoid tampering
with the fund. The Finance company is only aware of the consignment worth
US$21,000,000.00.

After this incident occurred, I and my only son decided to move to the
Republic of South Africa where my late husband deposited this money and
declared for Asylum. As my son and I are asylum seekers here in South
Africa, the law does not permit us to operate a bank account or transaction
of this magnitude, that is the main reason we contacted you to assist us
move this fund out of South Africa to your account as well as assisting us
invest this fund in a very good business in your country.

However, I have confirmed from the Finance Company that the only thing I
have to provide that will prove you the beneficiary of this fund is an
Affidavit of Change of Owner-ship Certificate in your name, which will
authorize the management release the fund to you without
questioning. After consideration and you are interested to work with me
move this fund to your country*, I will like to be open and honest with you
due to my financial situation than to waste your precious time and my time,
I will need your financial assistance to take care of the little expenses
to obtain the Affidavit of change of owner-ship Certificate into your name
from the Johannesburg High Court*. Nevertheless, I and my Son have agreed
to give you 30% of the total sum if you assist us transfer this fund to
your account and 70% will be for the family to invest in your country. You
do not need to entertain any fear; this transaction is 100% risk free and
absolutely confidential until you confirm this fund in your account to
avoid intrusion from anybody, but if you cannot assist me financially to
make the change of owner-ship of this fund into your name, then do not
bother yourself to reply this mail.

Please note that any delay in responding to this mail means that you are
not interested to work with me and it will give me room to look for another
good person for the same purpose, for further proceedings I will like you
to furnish me with your personal phone numbers as to enable me call and
relate to you more information in regards to this transaction. You can as
well contact me via my email ngemasfamily010@gmail.com

Thanks and God bless you.

Mrs. Sandy Evie Ngema.
