"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Complement of the day,
Due to my health situation, this is the only means I have to work for
charity and help the needy as well save life during this corona-virus
pandemic. My name is Mrs. Joan Immanuel an aging widow suffering from
long time Cancer illness and I am currently admitted in a private
hospital here, I have some funds I inherited from my late loving
husband which is deposited in one of the famous bank here, as Doctors
confirmed that I have a limit time to live, I want to donate this
funds for the work of charity in your Country to the glory of God to
save life’s and peace in the world.
This fund is to help the poor, the less privileged once in the
society, the widows, people that lost their love once in this
corona-virus pandemic and the elderly homes, this is to assist in
doing the good work of God and by His grace God will empower you to
carry on. Reply back to me for more information in details.
Yours Sincerely,
