"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I hope my mail gets to you in a sound health. My Name is General Robert
Abrams of the United States Arm Forces ...I'm currently serving in Korea as
the commander of the United States Forces . I know that you'll be surprised
to receive a message from a US General that you do not know . I'm
contacting you for you to act as a partner to receive two of my cargo boxes
containing $4.5m each (four million five hundred thousand Dollars). One
of the boxes is already at the London Heathrow Airport awaiting urgent
dispatch. Madam/ Sir; if your response to this proposal is affirmative,
kindly revert back so that you and I can discuss further about what is in
it for you as the trustees.

If this proposition offends your moral value ,do accept my apology and
ignore this message .
However ,if you’re willing to be a partner in this course ,I shall require
your email and telephone number so as to establish a verbal telephone with
you and bring you into a much better picture of the transaction .
