"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Beneficiary,

We are somewhat surprised at not hearing from you and it seemed incredible you have taken
no notice of our letters. We have the pleasure in bringing to your notice this FINAL letter
once again as we were informed by our paying bank that, you have not received your FSCS
payment of the sum of USD$6,250,000.00 and we have just verified your FSCS payment file as
informed and found out that your payment file is still open for claim.

Due to the outbreak Covid-19 and too many FSCS beneficiaries which are due for payment this
period, you are entitled to receive the sum of USD$3,250,000.00 as first PART PAYMENT so as
to enable us to pay other beneficiaries. We are very sorry about this and we promise to complete
your balance payment by first payment quarter year 2022.

You are urgently advised to contact your assigned payment officer below for more payment arrangements
and directives on how your outstanding funds can be remitted to you in a period not more than
21 working days and failure not to get back to this office will leave us with NO further option rather
than to call to the attention of the authority incharge for payment confiscation. We believe your reply
will be of the utmost assistance to you.

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is an independent body
set up under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA), and funded by a levy on
"authorized financial services firms". The scheme covers deposits, intercepted foreign and
local payment, inheritance payment, insurance policies, insurance brokering, investments and
mortgages. Please let us know exactly what the problem is and perhaps we can suggest some
ways to overcome it. Please you must not fail to acknowledge the receipt of this letter to
your payment officer. This is a security measure aimed to avoid delay or diversion of fund.
We shall be much obliged if you will not neglect this letter otherwise such negligence would
be a disastrous decision, we believe your reply will be of the utmost assistance you.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Yours faithfully
Mrs. Ryleigh Garrison
