"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

How are you doing? I have been trying to reach you to inform you that
the funds have been transferred successfully, and have package your
own share of it be delivered to you, I misplace my belongs while
trying to catch my flight, but have packaged the sum of ($5.1m) Five
Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars to you. Please discard every
email and communication with anyone regarding these funds, my computer
was hacked and have been threatened to pay them. they have every
information and this is why I had to get your email from my secretary.

You can contact the diplomat immediately, he is a retired US Army
(Trusted & Gentleman). He works as a diplomatic carriage for South
African companies. Have paid him for his charges, except the insurance
permit for his delivery because he said the insurance amount is not
fixed and mostly changed depending on the country of delivery but
should be about ($350 or $450) thereabout, you are to contact him with
this reference code (Qj100).
