"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: I am Mrs.Roseline Tanner

Greetings dear
I want to thank you again for responding after reviewing a proposal I
sent. I also want to thank you for your willingness to deal with this
charity / humanitarian project that I am about to trust in your good
hands. I must tell you that I am not afraid to entrust this charity /
humanitarian project to you because, you seemed simple and honest in
your message to me. I must tell you that I am experiencing severe pain
and agony, sleepless nights every day and nights, because of the stage
and condition of my illness. The doctor told me that the only way out
is to have a surgical operation, but I will have a chance of not
surviving the operation. In fact, I am not afraid of death, so I knew
where I would go if my God demanded my soul today. But as you
sincerely agreed to take care of this charity / humanitarian project,
I would like you to send me your full name, profession, birth data,

address and telephone number, as soon as I receive the information I
just requested, I will hire and pay a resident lawyer here will draft
my last will in your favor and go to the Ministry of Justice here to
secure an accurate statement so that I can legally position you to
claim the money on my behalf before having a surgical operation.

Because I don't want the bank to take advantage of the money if an
eventuality happens during or after an operation. As I said in my
first proposal, my son David is 17 years old and knows nothing about
banking procedures. I decided to offer you 20% of the total money US $
7,000,000.00 (seven million dollars) to deal with this charity /
humanitarian project, 40% to open a good deal for my son David in your
country when he comes, while 40% goes to a charity / humanitarian
project, as I will direct you in my last will. Please, I want you to
always put me in your daily prayers because of my next cancer surgery
operation.
I hope to read from you as soon as you read this message.
God bless you and your family.
Your humble sister,
Mrs. Roseline Tanner
