"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am contacting you to inform you of my desire to donate the amount of
US$:2,500,000 (two million five hundred thousand US dollars) for
charitable works, which I inherited from my late husband

It is my wish to see this money invested in any organization
of your choice in your country and distributed each year among the
charitable organizations, motherless babies' homes, mosques,
churches,Schools, supporting needy elderly men and women or whatever
you have in mind will be for the benefit of the less fortunate and to
take good care of my daughter.

I made this decision because I was raised from a motherless baby
At home and I am currently hospitalized here in (Abidjan) where I am
In treatment for my next breast cancer surgery operation. I do not
want this fund to be invested in an ungodly way as soon as I receive
your response confirming your acceptance to work. As I instructed, I
will give you all relevant information.
I authorize the release and transfer of the money to you as mine duly
designated representative.
