"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please I want your urgent response as soon as you receive this email and explain to me the reason why you should abandon your funds for $99.00. But if you don't need it then i can change your name to another person so that the Government will not claim this money. Get back to me immediately.

I wish to inform you that you inherited this fund from International Monetary Fund (IMF)It happened during their program in West Africa.The fund was lodged on fixed savings by IMF.

This is to inform you that International Monetary Fund (IMF) left your funds worth of US 4. 5 Million with instructions that you will contact us for it that's why we sent you an email.Your fund is real, legitimate and legal and it is 100% guaranteed.I wish to inform you that the $99 is all it will take to finalize your payment.You will not be asked for more fees.
