"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Mrs. Monika Singh

Dear beloved

I want you to read this letter very carefully and I apologize for
bringing this massage to you without any formal introduction as this
matter is urgently confidential. I am glad to know you. But the
almighty Lord knows you better and knows why he referred me to you at
this point. First of all, I am looking for a good closest relative on
the internet as I urgently need to turn my last wish into a reality
before I soon die.

I am writing this mail to you with heavy tears in my eyes and great
sadness in my heart. My name is Mrs. Monika Singh. I come from India.
I want to tell you this because I have no choice but to When I was
touched to open up to you, I was married to Mr Peter Singh, who worked
with the Tunisian Embassy in Madrid, Spain for nine years before
joining died in 2005. We were married without children for eleven
years.

He died after a brief illness that lasted only five days. Since his
death I have decided not to remarry. When my late husband was alive,
he deposited the amount of US $ 27,850,000.00 (twenty-seven million
eight hundred and fifty thousand dollars) with a bank in India, New
Delhi, capital of New Delhi, India. Currently this money is still in
the bank, he made this money available for exporting gold from mining
in Madrid, Spain before his sudden death. Recently my doctor told me
that I would not last 3 months because of a cancer problem. The thing
that bothers me the most is my stroke disease. After knowing my
condition, I decided to give you this money to take care of the less
privileged people. You will use this money as I am instructing here.
I want you to use 30 percent of the total money for your personal use
and for your efforts and commitment to the work of the charity. 70% of
the money goes to the work of the charity, people in need on the
street and helping the orphanage too, me grew up as an orphan and I
have no body as my family member. Also, make sure the house of God is
preserved from the funds. Do this so that God will forgive my sins and
accept my soul because these diseases have made me suffer so much. As
soon as I get your response I will give you the contact of the bank in
Delhi India and instruct the bank manager to issue you a letter of
authority proving you the current beneficiary of the money in the
bank, if you assure me that you will act accordingly as I have
indicated here.

Hoping to get your answer I will go to the bank with you so that the
money will be transferred to your bank account as soon as possible.
That is, if you are serious enough to handle the project and are
committed to it because I think I can honestly trust you.

Sincerely.
Mrs. Monika Singh
