"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: hi

My name is Margret Spencer,a cancer patient from United States,I am writing
you because i got a message from my bank where i had long deposited the sum
of $6.4 million dollars that the fund is long overdue and the account will
soon be rendered dormant or the fund will be confiscated by the bank if i
make no frantic effort to withdraw the money since it is over 12 years of
the deposit.
.
Presently I have no need for the money since I am sick and old,i have no
one to give the money to since I lost my husband 20 years ago,i have no
child and live in isolation,My wish is to retire to the old peoples home
and there I can die in peace.

I am writing you now as my spirit directs me because i find you a caring
person,I wish to bequest the fund to you .I am a humanitarian person and
love giving out to people,so please do not find my offer to be strange, this
might just be your God given opportunity and luck for life,do not neglect
or ignore my message.I am a 76 year old woman and i could not be telling
you lies about what i don't have to give you,i know there are a lot of
scammers out there who deceive people for their money, but please follow my
advice and you will receive the money.

I would like to hear from you if you would really be interested to have the
money.
You may write me on my email margaretspencer543@gmail.com

best regards

Margret Spencer
