"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

How are you my dear?
Kindly allow me to introduce myself briefly, I am Mrs. Linda Nadya Arthur.
I'm from Indonesia but my husband is an Canadian,
and we live in the United Kingdom.
My husband died on August 21, 2018. While I was struggling with cancer
illness for a long time and my doctor said that the current situation
is not under control that I have few months to live.

Well my husband is a contractor (philanthropist) and before his death,
he secured/ completed a contract with the UK government's value $17.5
million dollar, but death took him away before the money was deposited
into my bank account.

However, before my husband death, he encouraged me to help the poor,
because since we got married, we were unable to have a child.

Dear please can you get back to me via below email for very important
discussion, I want to give some money out to poor people, orphanage
and widows through you.
I am looking forward to read again from you as soon as possible.
God bless you.
Mrs. Linda Nadya Arthur.
