"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

It’s my pleasure to contact you over this business and I hope for your assistance on this matter.
I’m Mr. William Wallace, a financial advisor.

My Late client Engineer. An expatriate was Killed in unknown circumstances and before his death, he deposited a consignment containing US$63.800.000 (Sixty Three Million, Eight Hundred Thousand United States Dollars Only), with a vault Company in the United Kingdom{ through World Bank Geneva Switzerland}. I decided to search for any of my late client's relatives which has been very difficult to me before those consignments get confiscated or declared un-serviceable by the vault company because they have given me a mandate to present any family heir to my late client.

The deceased is bearing a similar name to you. This is why I am writing to you so that we will claim this consignment, I guarantee that this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the law.

As soon as I receive an acknowledgement on this, I shall draft a notarized letter of trustee in your favor, dully establishing and confirming you as the appointed trustee. In order for me to successfully draft the trustee authorization letter, I will need the following from you; full names, address, contact phone numbers and ID
card, for easy communications, as I would like to have a verbal conversation with you.

Kindly make this information available to me when replying to this email. E- Mail: williamwallace@consultant.com

I await your email response and be free to respond to my email with whatever clarification that is needed.

I therefore look forward to a mutual business relationship with you,
while I look forward to your quick reply.

Sincerely,

Mr. William Wallace
