"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Benefiting Business Proposal.,

I hope this finds you in good faith. I am Attorney Ryan Nathan. I have a business proposal to discuss with you.

I have a client by name Mrs. Janet Blanchard. She died 3 months ago. She is a wife to the late Engr. Philip C. Blanchard, an oil and gas marchant. She died as a result of cancer and other complications. They have no children. I have been their attorney for many years.

The point here is that, they left the sum of $385,000,000 dollars in their bank account before her death. I have tried so many time to reach out to their relatives but to no avail. And i cannot forfeit this funds to the bank just like that.

I am contacting you for us to do this business together and claim these funds. I want you to stand as the next of kin to my late client. I will rewrite the WILL of my client in your name and give you some documents to back it up in the bank.

In successful completion of this transaction, we shall share the funds 45% for me and 45% for you and 10% for any expenses that we may incur during the process. If this interests you, please respond back to me.

Note: Any expenses will be shared equally between both of us.

Regards,
Attorney Ryan Nathan
