"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The unrest that we are experiencing now has left South Africa ravaged, it is the worst violence and destruction we’ve seen since Apartheid. Our president has categorized the recent events as insurrection without any political face as he claimed, but in my own opinion it is clear there is a political purge after our former president was sent to jail only because he was unable to appear before The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of State Capture,. Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector including Organs of State during President Jacob Zuma presidency, I still do not agree with our president that there is a plan to topple the government from the ex president loyalist, there is a hidden plan to get rid of any force that will stand against his re election electoral congress, I do not feel safe and secure at this moment because who might be next to go to jail? After due deliberation with my husband, I decided to contact you for your assistance in standing as a beneficiary for the sum of US$30,500,000.00 (Thirty Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars Only). This fund emanated as a result of an over invoiced military ware contract awarded to my Husband by the defense ministry, though I asked my personal assistant assist him secure the deal I ask for your assistance in opening an account with a commercial bank, through my banker so that this fund can be wired into your account directly and without a hitch. I am offering you 30% of the principal sum which amounts to US$9,150.000.00 (Nine million One Hundred and fifty Thousand United States Dollars Only) and 5% will be for any expenses that both of us may Insure in this transaction.
