"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hi Noble Friend,

May the pace of the Lord be with you and your family. I have reviewed your
email to UNICEF New Zealand Helpdesk for support of your endeavor towards
humanity. Thank you for getting in touch with UNICEF New Zealand and
wanting to help vulnerable children, We appreciate you contacting UNICEF
New Zealand and your inquiry is very important to them. We rely on the
kindness of people like yourself to enable our work for underprivileged
children. Thank you for your wonderful support towards vulnerable children.

I am Mrs. Susan Davis Wilson from the United States who worked with the
Embassy here in London for Eighteen years before I retired due to cancer
sickness. My husband was married for sixteen years without a child but
unfortunately he died after a brief illness in 2010 that lasted for only
four days.

Since my husband died I decided not to re-marry. Recently, the doctor in
charge of my case told me that the cancer has really deteriorated as my
body is no longer responding to treatment meaning that I would not last,
and my days on earth are numbered. The bible made us understand that
blessed is the hand that giveth. I took the decision of reaching out to
UNICEF New Zealand because I don't have any child that will inherit this
money. I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly
way.

I have decided to donate the fund to you through UNICEF New Zealand to
enable your work for underprivileged and vulnerable children, the
motherless, also for the assistance of the widows in your community. I know
that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. I don't need any telephone
communication in this regard because I am 73 years old and my husband’s
relatives are always around me. I don't want them to know about this
development. But feel free to call my lawyer during business hours Monday
to Friday 9am to 5pm on the phone number that i shall give to you when i
get your response mail Or you may like to check out UNICEF New Zealand
Helpdesk at: http://helpdesk.unicef.org.nz/

I shall inform the Bank in London that you are the beneficiary of my fund
so that they will contact you for the release of the fund. I will also
introduce you to my family lawyer that will prepare an authorization letter
in your name that will enable you to apply to the bank for claim of fund
without any attorney fee.

Please, any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing another
person for this same purpose. And assure me that you will act accordingly
as I stated herein. Hoping to receive your reply.

Please include your complete information that i can send to my family
attorney who will help you to retrieve the fund.

Send your official contact address, your direct Cell phone Number, your
Official Age and your Occupation

Warm regards,
Mrs. Susan Davis Wilson
